Magdalena Kalwas

Magda earned her PhD at The University of Life Sciences SGGW in Warsaw, Poland in 2010 where she had been working as Assistant Professor until 2022. During her numerous internships and residency programs (eg. n the Romanian veterinary hospital Gregorio VII and the Teaching Hospital of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Bologna, Italy) she had a chance to learn from the best veterinary emergency and critical care practitioners. Her main fields of interest include: blood gas analysis, sepsis, intoxications, endocrine and neurologic emergencies. In 2022 she joined MSD Animal Health and currently she is a part of their Technical Team.

In her free time, Magda enjoys learning new skills, especially those that combine conscious perception, fine motor activity and fun like surfing, swimming and stand-up paddleboarding (SUP).
